Bajaj Auto on Friday unfurled the sales data for the month of May 2017. The company posted a 10% decline in motorcycles segment to 2,77,115 units in
May 2017, as against 3,07,344 units in May 2016.
The commercial vehicles segment registered 9% fall to 36,641 units in May 2017, as against 40,311 units in May 2016.
The total (motorcycles + commercial vehicles) sales posted 10% decline to 3,13,756 units in the month of May 2017. The company reported total sales
of 3,47,655 units in the same month of the previous year, 2016.
Meanwhile, Bajaj Auto was down by 0.6% at Rs 2821 per share at 10:13 hours IST on BSE. It touched a high of Rs 2831.05 and a low of Rs 2772.20 so

Bajaj Auto Ltd is currently trading at Rs 2816.55, down by Rs 24.2 or 0.85% from its previous closing of Rs 2840.75 on the BSE.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 49.3 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 25.11 % and 25.59 % respectively.
